“ If you're looking for a solid spot for seafood in Juneau, this is a good choice if in town while on an Alaskan cruise. Menu is huge and full of seafood choices. Good beer list offering the best of local craft brews. Gotta go with salmon when in Alaska! Cedar Plank Salmon is a good sized piece of fish cooked on a cedar plank with a sweet & salty bourbon & molasses sauce for dipping. Comes with a basket of seasoned curly fries. Yum. The clam chowder is a star here. Huge bowl full of thick chunky ingredients. It's a meal in itself! As mentioned in other reviews there can be a wait to get a table as all the cruise ships here at the same time mean plenty of passengers looking for a bite. Service was ok but can be a bit slow due to the crowds. Still, it's a decent choice for lunch or a late meal before heading back to the ship. ”
“ On a trip to taku we stopped for a bite to eat. Coming for a fishing trip with a family who lives on seafood in Hawaii trying places that prepare it differently is always a must when we travel. As it was my first time my family has been dinning with Twisted fish for the past 20 years. If I could send you a sample of the fresh seafood I would.. until you try it. Here are pictures of the delightful food we had! ”
“ The food here is excellent. Fresh off the boat. You would think it's a tourist trap, but is really a great place to dine. Better food than anything we have had on the cruise ship. I had grilled salmon w veggies and she had smoked salmon Mac and cheese. We shared a few boiled and chilled prawns. All of it was excellent! ”
“ If you like fresh wonderful seafood, here's your next stop. 4 of us ate lunch here, it's worthy! I had the Steamer clams. Fresh and sweet these come in a beer broth with killer bread. Ooooooo! . I also had a bowl of clam chowder. Also ooooooo! Others had the Twisted fish burger which was Parmesan crusted halibut on a brioche bun. They had onion rings that were reminiscent of the famous Pickquick onion rings in Duluth. Close to illegals because they are KILLER good! Nice beer selection, fast service, clean and efficient restaurant. What's not to like here? It's a huge recommend when in Juneau! ”
“ Attractive restaurant and good service. We started off with a pretty tasty smoked salmon spread on house flat bread, creamy and full of salmon flavor. Then we had clam chowder (fresh, creamy, light, lots of clams) and oysters. I really liked the chowder, especially dipping a chunk of the crusty bread. The oysters were small but very flavorful and everyone in our group who ate them liked them a lot. The halibut and gnocchi was great, the fish fresh and bright and a good contrast against the rich gnocchi. The fish and chips was "the best I've ever had" quote one of our group. Tender fish with a good batter. The crab legs were your standard awesome Alaska king crab legs, sweet and addictive. Overall, I like this place a lot and would return. ”
“ This place gets very crowded. Even though they have tables avaliable they might hold lines due to lack of servers. Their bread is the best i've ever had in my life. Soft, fresh and delicious!! One should def tryit out. I've tried their salmon with glaze, was pretty decent. Not the best i've had in Alaska. Service was not quick once we were seated. Prices are high but its a remote tourist place. Overall a good place to have some alaskan food. ”
